Something slightly different from the norm!

The diving schedule on the Halton is increasingly being focused on the centenary of the scuttling of the German High Seas Fleet on 21st June 2019. A series of events and a number of diving programs are being implemented to explore the themes raised by this significant historical event.



There is a bigscapacleanup week in the week 24th – 29th September 2017.

This week offers the chance to get in the water and actively removed the rubbish that has collected on the wrecks and make a difference. Run by Rich Walker, the Ghostfishing team will be revisiting Scapa for the third time and extending the scope of their ambitions. There is a photogrammetry week

29th – 3rd November 2017

This is a joint venture bteween the Halton and the Huskyan to train the next generation of photogrammetry divers.

This technique is gaining ground as a significant technology for mapping, recording and interpreting our underwater heritage. If you want to gain the skills to learn more, please drop me an email.

BSAC adopt the Coln

There is a BSAC expedition week to map the Coln.

12th – 17th November
